Terms of Service

By creating an account or using amon.lol ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use amon.lol. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (15 in France) or under the age of majority, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who also accepts these Terms. Selling paid links and joining the affiliate program require you to be able to accept Stripe's terms in your country.

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password safe and for everything done with it. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.

Usernames are given on a first-come basis and are not owned. We may reclaim or change a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, is offensive, or is held without being used, and some usernames are reserved.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write on amon.lol: images, music, videos, fonts, text, links and comments. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and adapt that content (for example, resize images or encode audio) only to operate and promote the Service, such as showing your profile on the leaderboard or the landing page. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, artwork and fonts. Profiles, comments and widgets are public: see our Privacy Policy for what that means.

You agree not to use amon.lol to post, link to or sell anything that:

• Is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
• Is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way.
• Shows extreme violence or gore, or promotes self-harm, terrorism or hatred against people based on who they are.
• Harasses, threatens, bullies or doxxes anyone, including through comments.
• Impersonates a person, brand or organization, or misleads visitors about who you are.
• Infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Is spam, phishing, malware, a scam, or a deceptive redirect.

You also agree not to artificially inflate views, clicks or leaderboard rankings, abuse the report or comment systems, scrape the Service at scale, or try to break or bypass its security or Pro restrictions.

Anyone can report a profile. We review reports and may remove content, reset parts of a profile, remove badges, or suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice depending on how serious the violation is.

Profile owners can turn comments off, pin them and delete comments left on their profile. We can also remove any comment. If you believe we made a mistake, open a ticket on our Discord server.

Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription, at the price shown at checkout. It unlocks Pro features on your account for as long as your account and the Service exist. Features included in Pro can change over time as we add, improve or retire them.

• 14-day refund: you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase from your dashboard settings. If you have deleted your account, open a ticket on our Discord server.
• What a refund does: Pro is removed immediately, along with Pro-only customizations and files (such as background videos, custom fonts, uploaded music and custom domains).
• Pro can also be removed without refund if your account is banned for breaking these Terms.

You can sell access to files or content through paid links, after connecting a Stripe account (Stripe Connect). When you sell a paid link:

• You are the seller. You are responsible for what you sell, for delivering it, for answering buyers and for any taxes due on your sales.
• amon.lol keeps a 5% platform fee on each sale. Stripe's own fees also apply. Payouts are handled by Stripe according to its terms.
• Refunds and disputes for paid links are between the buyer and the seller. We may help, but we are not a party to the sale.
• We may disable paid links that break these Terms or Stripe's rules.

• You can create a creator code and earn a commission (currently $1) for each Pro purchase made with your code or link.
• Commissions are paid through Stripe Connect or, if you provide one, manually to your PayPal email.
• Commissions on refunded purchases, self-referrals, or sales obtained through spam, misleading claims or fraud are cancelled, and abusive accounts can be removed from the program.
• We can change the commission or end the program at any time. Commissions already earned under the previous rules remain payable.

You may only connect a custom domain that you own or are authorized to use. We may remove a domain that breaks these Terms.

Widgets and music rely on third-party services (such as Spotify, Discord, Steam, Roblox, Riot Games, YouTube, Letterboxd and Deezer) and are subject to their own terms. amon.lol is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and these features can stop working if a service changes or blocks access.

The Service itself, including its design, code, effects, templates and the amon.lol name and logo, belongs to amon.lol and its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use our brand without written permission.

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard; deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk or expose us to legal liability. If we shut down the Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important you upload.

To the extent allowed by law, amon.lol is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, data or reputation, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know through the dashboard or by email. Continuing to use amon.lol after the changes take effect means you accept them.
